Thanks for the kind words. I am getting a serious amount of very positive feedback in relation to this "first light" photo with the new Canon EOS 300d.

 

As for the full resolution image (3072x2048), it is equally impressive and more. Just to give you an idea, two very minor iterations of unsharp masking were applied to the full resolution image and from which the low-res version you see here on AstroVox was produced (20% resampling).
