On June 30, 1973 there was a total eclipse of the sun observed mainly across Africa. It was almost the longest totality one can get, about 7.5 minutes. I set up my telescope here in Athens and took a few images of a partially eclipsed sun. Since today marks 31 years from that event, I thought I would share a few images that I took. -Fred |
