Hi Fred,

 

This particular scope would be great for solar system photography. It should be able to pick out really fine detail on the planets, the moon and the sun. At the same time, it should provide really great contrast for these celestial bodies.

 

Just curious: does Baader make their ND5 mylar material wide enough to cover such a large lens?
