Hello every group member,

 

The new version of the Virtual Moon Atlas is here

 

Patrick Chevalley and I are pleased to present you the new "Pro" version with the following new features:

 

- New Dual-Window interface.

 

- Colorful lunar globe.

 

- Apply scientific overlays to the virtual globe. These include result from the Clementine and Lunar Prospector probes (altimetry, colorimetry, gravitational anomaly, high and low energy neutron, iron, hydrogen, potassium, thorium repartition).

 

- New "Farside indiced craters" database (1667 entries).

 

- New pictures libraries from the "Lunar Astronautical Charts" and "Lunar Maps" (800 pictures).

 

- The "Consolidated Lunar Atlas" pictures library has been completed (now including 2300 pictures).

 

- For those who have a slow download rate, the "Pro" version is now also available at a low price on a CD-rom that include the software, databases, textures, overlays, LOPAM, Apollo, Probes and LAC/LM pictures libraries.

 

We hope this new version will help you to discover new feature of our natural satellite and enjoy observing with your telescope.
