Subject: AstroLAB IRIS releases booklet about DSLR astrophotography

 

 

Hello everybody,

 

Today we release the 114 pages booklet 'Deep-Sky fotografie met een

digitale camera ? Kom nou!'. It has been written in Dutch and

contains most of the test results and much more useful information

about doing astro-photography with a DSLR. Most of the time the

publication refers to CANON EOS camera bodies (sorry, Nikon and

other guys ).

The good news for the English speaking community is that all graphs

and slides + a complete CANON EOS-deep-sky photography check list

has been written in English, so I guess that also for the English-

speaking community the publication can be useful already.

 

To be clear on this, our study work is not finished yet and we sure

do not know the answers to all questions. We merely want to give

an overview of everything that we have learned this far by using

Internet sources, general knowledge & common sense , personal

contacts and doing tests ourselves. We are happy to receive

comments, questions, etc. so that we can go to a more final version

in English.
