In an unprecedented move, the Canadian Institute ofMining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) has joined forcesin a partnership with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), tohold MineSpace 2001, a conference and trade show beingheld April 29th to May 2nd, in Quebec City. The twoorganizations will work to foster the growth of technologytransfer between their two industries and to strengthentheir respective competitive advantage in the globalmarket. The media is invited to attended the Plenary and learnabout the latest technological developments on April 30th,from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. CIM's MineSpace 2001 PlenarySession will focus on the growing relationship between theminerals and space industries.
