This sounds like a very nice event to visit. The photographs that he has taken in Australia are excellent. Maybe someone will take some ditigal photos at the exhibit and post them on the web.

Hi Fred,

 

Do not worry about pictures from the exhibit as this is something I will look into myself using my digital camera.

 

However, I just received a message from David confirming that he will NOT be present. In fact, he was not aware that his work was to be on display!

 

Nevertheless, it is certainly worth the effort to attend the exhibit and the 40 pieces of work to be displayed, for they are truly exceptional. The bulk of the photos involve galaxies and star clusters with some additional examples of star trails around the SCP and Halley's Comet.

Hi Fred,

 

I will be providing a link within the next day or two with a complete set of photos from last night's opening of the Malin exhibit.

 

A total of twenty pieces of work were on display and were quite impressive. So was the wine and munchies.
