Unknown flying object pursues space probe “Rosetta”

Mysteriöse scenes in space: The space probe “Rosetta” is pursued by an unknown flying object. Researchers from Arizona discovered the puzzling body with the recent earth flyby of the probe.

 

“Rosetta” has a pursuer. For the first time the unknown flying object was noticeable to the sky researchers, because it like “Rosetta” on earth to branch. “It was somewhat darker than our probe and moved on a nearly identical course”, says Gerhard Schwehm of the “Rosetta” - team MIRROR-ON-LINE. The US researchers have already a name for the object: “Son OF Rosetta” - “Rosettas” son. “We assume it concerns, assumes a so far unknown Asteroiden” Schwehm.

 

First the scientists thought in completely different direction. Perhaps had “Rosetta” been misplaced on the way any construction unit? The 14 meters are enough for sun paddle for current supply? Or the landing equipment Philae, with which in the year 2014 a landing on a comet nucleus is to be tried? Or perhaps a foil, into which the comet hunter is packed? Schwehm holds for impossible: “We would have lost foil, then that would on board have been noticeable to the numerous temperature sensors immediately. Their data are regularly supervised.” Also the other parts could themselves have solved hardly unnoticed.

 

 

Even the old rocket stage, with which the probe was shot years ago at its Pirouettenkurs, is not applicable. “The object is not human being-made”, says Schwehm. It concerns probably rather a small planet out of the so-called Apollo group. Experts name Asteroiden, which cross the Earth's orbit on their courses around the sun.

 

A back calculation of the orbit of the probe Stalkers resulted in that it places “Rosetta behind” already quite a while. Just as the space probe came he from the direction Mars, where the probe had completed a Swing by maneuver in the past spring (more…). “Between both Mars meetings at that time five week”, explain Trevor Morley, chief navigator of the “Rosetta” lay - mission at the Darmstädter Kontrollwarte of the Esa. Τιποτε το περιεργο,απλα οι τροχιες της ροζετας και ενος αστεροειδους της ομαδας Απολλον(με τροχια που τεμνει την τροχια της γης η του ηλιου)καπου εκαναν τα δυο αντικειμενα να πλησιασουν το ενα το αλλο,αλλα συντομα θα απομακρυνθουν και παλι.
