I am afraid that you have to do some homework before you publish a classified in another country. In your case you should know that this scope costs here in Greece 299 Euros... brand new from the official importer..... Therefore, it makes sense from 250 Euros and lower....

That Dobson that you've showed me it's the Retro - Classic Dobson.

I own one Classic Dobson.

It doesn't matter how long you will search at that company (http://www.astronomy.gr/main.cfm?module=eshop&action=detail&id=657) you will never find it. It is just a "trap", just commercial.

I'm a bit confused my friend. The difference between the two models you mentioned is the focal length, with the "Classic" at 1200mm while the "Retro Classic" at 1000mm (f/6 vs f/5). A lot of people have already purchased the f/6 at the price mentioned above, what you do you mean with :

Look again.... I showed you the "Classic Dobson" not the "Retro - Classic Dobson".... You have to be more careful..... "Classic Dobson" from the site that you provided is f6. "Retro - Classic Dobson" is f5. In Greece you will find only f6..... at 299 Euros.

 

Never mind, I am afraid that you have to reconsider it.

Yes, you're wright.

I was wrong, a little bit. But about that store, no!

It is very close for the place I live now, and starting with sept. 2008 till now I visit this shop 2 times per month. And every time I hear the same story WE DON'T HAVE IT.

They put a good telescope for sell, with a good price and they don't have it? Why? You don't ask yourself why?

And sometimes I heard that they could bring in future the telescope, but is possible to change the price "a little bit." I think that they practice a monopol of telescope, because they are the only company in Greece.

This is meaningless. You can't speak greek so you can't understand the sites and you can't read anything in here. There are many people in here who have bought this telescope from that specific store at that specific price. This thread is now locked.
