This came out really nice. I gather that you were using the C11 at prime focus. I didn't see you make any mention of a focal reducer in your description.

Now you just need to make a mosaic of the waning moon, when the shadows are reversed, for the other half of the moon. Then combine the two together. That'll keep you busy and out of trouble for a while.
