Hi Guys,

The image was taken from my home in California. I have a very nice view of the horizon to the west, north, south and east. Well, on the east there is a small hill that really is not a bother. I can even see Canopus from the property, but it is quite low in the sky and is not visible for a long period. The Milky Way gets really interestingto the eye when the Los Angeles basin gets filled with fog. It just cuts the light pollution way down. Glad you enjoyed the image. -Fred
