Ψαχνοντας βρηκα αυτο απο Καναδα και αυτο στο ebay.

Εμεις με τις nikon παλι στην απεξω....ααχχχχχχχχχ!!!!

Θα βρει αρκετό φως για να δουλεψει το AF με αστρα;

Και αν η καμερα ειναι τροποποιημενη (πχ με Baader IR) θα κανει σωστο focus ή άλλα των αλλων;

I have been using a fotosharp for over a year now. Works well most of the time. A few caveats:

 

1. Star has to be bright at least 2nd magnitude

2. Star needs to be centered on the centre focus point, while you half press the shutter button.

3. Turn focus very slowly. Too fast and fotosharp cannot detect the difference

4. If the star moves away during focusing move it back again to the centre point.

5. Will not work through filters like UHC, Halpha, since star is too dim. CLS filter seemed fine.

 

Quite challenging at first, since you have to do four things at the same time

(a) press the focus point illuminator button, which illuminates the focus point for around 10 seconds

(b) Keep half depressing the shutter button

© Keep turning the focus knob

(d) Move the star back to the centre using the hand controller

 

Imagine doing this in the dark, half squatting, with your neck craned up. Gives me a pain in the neck, but I always manage to get focus in less than 60 seconds.

 

Well, the best part is - There is no element of doubt that I have attained the best possible focus with my system.
