Exposure: Hα 5 x 1800 sec (bin 1x1), SII 10 x 1200 sec (bin 2x2), OIII 10 x 1200 sec (bin 2x2)

• Luminance: Hα + (blend SII/OII Tonemap)

• R:50%Hα + 50%SII, G:15%Hα + 85%ΟΙΙΙ and B:OIII

The Elephant Trunk Nebula (IC1396) spans over thousands of light years , mixing bright and dark gas clouds. It is a place where stars are born, only 3000 light years from Earth. It is located in the constellation of Cepheus.
