Coronado 70mm Externally doubestacked with 60mm

That's really a cool scope!!

I noticed there's an other focuser(that gold-anodized you have there),and looks nice, but what was the reason for that replacement? have you had any problem with the original one??

Internal stacking with the 60mm?Does that means additional $$$?

This is a Coronado custom made telescope.

Much detail has gone into this scope and as you mentioned, even the focuser is custom made. The supplied focuser is very similar (if not the same) - this one gives a more cosmetically uniform look to the scope (overall) .

The double-aperture is usually through an internal 400 etalon at the end of the focus as to not reduce aperture.

This is very expensive and is only done at Coronado.

I believe the 90mm scope is done this way with a 60mm internal etalon to double its effectiveness - again this is quite expensive.
