Astronomy Vol.1, No.1

It's actually admirable that you are interested in collecting magazines, especially them concerning astronomy. I personally thank you for sharing them with us and I'd like to congratulate you for your zeal in particularize your hobbies in something so special.

Glad that you enjoyed the two postings. Seems only like yesterday that that first issue of Astronomy magazine came out. Time sure does fly.

From looking at the hit counter, it looks like the back cover of the first issue is attracting more viewers as opposed to the front cover. Back then the Celestron forks were sand cast.

It surely does...

I remember when I was about 15 years old admiring the Celestron ads at the backcover of Astronomy... Another 15+ years had to pass until I got my first C8 and later my C11.
