Can u explain me about the VD ballheads the last number and letters meaning? For example in VD 283-QX/what does 3 and QX mean? or in VD 366 and VD 365-F/what does 5 and F mean? Also i saw that some ballheads with less mm diameter have more maximum load than other ballheads with more mm diameter,how that can be possilbe? Do they have different manufacture/technology and from what material are they made hard plastic or they are entirely from metal? Also about the T30 lite and T60 lite tripods are they original hahnel products from Germany or they are imitations? And if so how can be produced in China while the hahnel company is in Germany? Q --> Material is made by forging process and it mean that metallography is more elaborate and more strong. 2. X --> It is for traveller tripod. 3. F --> It is for normal tripod. 4. Numbers mean ballhead diameter and for bignner, middle DSLR or etc. 5. More load --> because structure of ballhead is different. 6. T30 and T60 --> They are original Hahnel's product, not fake or imitations. and we don't make and have no right to make it. They are regally received. So, You don't need to worry about it.. I made some questions in my previous email but you only answered me partially. So i am gonna ask you again, what is the maximum load of T30 and T60 tripods without a ballhead? The hahnel official site(http://www.hahnel.ie/index.cfm?page=tripods&id=57&pId=57 click on the PDF's) gives a maximum load 4kg and 5 kg for them and in your product description on ebay the maximum load is shown 2 times one for 8kg and one for 15 kg, which is the correct? Also from what material are the ballheads made of? ΑΠΑΝΤΗΣΗ 2 Dear Sir, Good Morning ? It is pity that our explanation is not enough for you.. Sorry for them. We would like to explain tripod system as follow: 1. Normally, Tripod consistes of a tripod and a head in higher level tripod set and they are detechable. 2. In this case, Each part's load capacity is not same. 3. In Hahnel, Tripod without head's is higher because of good mechnical structure. But, hahnel ballhead has lower capacity and is for beginer's DSLR.. So, Hahnel is forced to indicate it based on ballhead's because they sell tripod with ballhead together. 4. But, since we now sell 1). hahnel tripod and head with no Hahnel and 2) hahnel tripod and hahnel head, Situation is forced to indicate it saperately. You can find our cemment at note below spec. Example) If tripod's 15Kg, head's is 4Kg, Total load capacity of tripod set will be 4Kg. --> Hahnel indicate like this. So, I thank you if you check it in this viewpoint. 5. Important factors to make head load capacity are its structure, accuracy of cutting and treatment of material. So, Cheaper head can not reach to higher load capacity. Normally, Load capacity of head is more important than tripod leg if tripod has screw locking or hahnel's structure.. But, Normal tripod with lever locking system has lower load capacity and is cheaper. 6. Our tripod including Hahnel and head are made by Aluminium alloy. I hope that my comment is helpful to you.
