17.5-inch Newtonian

That telescope belonged to a friend of mine who is a college instructor at the local college. He had this setup for students of his Astronomy Laboratory Class. This allowed the students to do astrophotography for class projects. He had purchased the top end of an old barn silo and converted it into an observatory. He has since sold the unit.

I certainly would be happy if it was my instrument.
