Τάσο δεν πρόσεξα πως λες για τον 35mm. Δεν έχω βρει καμμία αναφορά ακόμη πέρα από αυτήν την συζήτηση. Λένε πως είναι παραλλαγή του Skywatcher 38mm SWA που πουλάει το Πλανητάριο, με ανάλογη απόδοση. Ρωτήστε τον Zio που έχει έναν 38 ή 32mm. Είναι κατώτεροι (και φθηνότεροι) των Hyperions, ειδικά των Aspherics. http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/4277676/page/0/view/collapsed/sb/5/o/all/fpart/1/vc/1 Κώστα, το ίδιο ισχύει και για τον 25mm (SW 26mm SWA). Επειδή τους δίνει δώρο με τα τηλεσκόπιά της, υπάρχουν κάποιες φωτογραφίες. Είναι φθηνές λύσεις οι 70. Οι 82 αντιθέτως είναι σοβαρές εναλλακτικές των Nagler όπως είπαμε, και οι 100 τουλάχιστον ισάξιοι με τους Ethos. Αν ζητάτε ποιότητα σκεφτείτε τις περισσότερες μοίρες.

Δεν είμαι από τους μανιακούς της ποιότητας. Εμένα μου φαίνεται εξαιρετικός. Θετικά: Είναι πανάλαφρος. Μεγάλος προσοφθάλμιος φακός. Καλό Eye Relief. Αρνητικά: Είναι Erfle χωρίς Barlow. Αυτό σημαίνει πως η σκόνη στην αντικειμενική επιφάνεια βρίσκεται στο "πεδίο" εστίασης. Σε εστιακό λόγο Τον χρησιμοποιώ αντί για τον Hyperion 21mm, με Barlow και Powermate σαν 10 και 8mm, καθώς και στο Stellarvue F50 (f/4) και με έπεισε να πουλήσω τα Plossl 32 και 25mm αφού μου δίνει σχεδόν ίδιο TFOV με μεγαλύτερη μεγέθυνση και AFOV. Δεν τον έχω δει τον 30mm αλλά στο Cloudy Nights τον θεωρούν μια σοβαρή εναλλακτική του Terminagler, όπως και τον Meade 5000 άλλωστε. Είναι παραπλήσιος σε κορμοστασιά όμως. Εμένα ο ES82 14 μου φαίνεται καλύτερος από τον Nagler 7 T1 που έχω (σύγκριση με Barlow). Αλλά δεν έχω πείρα σε Nagler τέτοιου τύπου, καθώς αποφάσισα να πάω σε Τ4. Δυστυχώς όμως οι Τ4 μας... τελείωσαν, οπότε ψάχνομαι και πάλι γiα ES, όχι όμως άμεσα.

Οι Explore Scientific ES82 είναι ίδιοι με τους Meade 5000 UWA. Προέρχονται από το ίδιο εργοστάσιο (Jinghua στο Kunming) αλλά παρασκευάζονται με το αδιάβροχο σχέδιο της ES. Ο μόνος που δεν υπάρχει, άγνωστο γιατί, είναι ο 8.8mm. Οι φακοί των ES82 μοιάζουν με των T5-T6, όχι με των T4. Δεν βλέπεις όλο το πεδίο με την μία, όπως έχω περιγράψει και παλαιότερα. Δεν γνωρίζω τι σημαίνει αυτό για ένα διοφθάλμιο. Το νέο τους σχήμα όμως βολεύει.

Η σειρά ES70 είναι ίδια με τα Agena SWA, Meade QX και Skywatcher 2'' του πλανηταρίου. Όσο μεγαλύτερο το εστιακό μήκος, τόσο το καλύτερο. Έχω τους 20, 15 & 10mm από Agena. Αποφύγετε τον 10mm. O 20mm είναι εξαιρετικός για την τιμή του. Τον 25mm δίνει πλέον η ES με τα αποχρωματικά της. Η σειρά ES82 έχει νέα αδιάβροχη σχεδίαση, κατά τα πρότυπα των ES100. Έχω τον παλαιότερο ES14, με σχήμα μανιταριού. Είναι εξαιρετικός deep sky φακός για την τιμή του, a la Nagler. Για την σειρά ES100 θα ξέρετε πως θεωρείται τουλάχιστον ισότιμη των Ethos, ο 14 βρέθηκε ανώτερος μάλιστα σε τυφλή δοκιμή.
