Here is a nice home-made trailer mounted observatory. RTMC 2002 digital photo. -
Here is a trailer that has been modified, as is obvious, into a portable observatory. At the time it had a Meade 10-inch LX200 in it. Kodachrome 64 slide 1998 RTMC. I had posted this image on my personal album but decided that the image would get more exposure being posted here. -
Here is an interesting slide that I took. One can see the size difference between a 36-inch F/5 Dobsonian and a Meade 16-inch LX200. Kodachrome 64 slide 2003 RTMC. -

The dome of the 200-inch telescope. -
Here is the 200-inch Hale telescope at Mt. Palomar. The primary mirror is F/3.3. Kodachrome 64 slide 1994. -
Meade's popular 16-inch Schmidt Cassegrain telescope. Kodachrome 64 slide 2003 RTMC. -

Hi, I was going to leave a comment on your previous post, and saw this image. This image gives me a kind of 3D effect. The star trails close to the Pole appear to be "elliptical" to the eye. Looks like one is in a tunnel. Very nice images. -Fred -

Hi Panos, Looks like a lot of people had a very enjoyable evening of observing. I am amazed at the amount of girls that attend star parties in Greece. Very few attend in the U.S., it seems to be more of a "guy" thing. Well my daughter has an interest in astronomy, probably due to my interest in the field. -Fred -
