Here is a must see telescope. It is a 10-inch Dobsonian and the wner has spent a lot of time and thought into making this telescope. It also has optical encoders on both axises.

    Mt. Parnona Sky

Here is 30-secod exposure of the sky Saturday night, July 10, at Mt. Parnona with traces of human habitation at the bottom of the image. This guided image has not been worked in any fashion.

    12-inch F/4 Newtonian

John Rozakis and his 12-inch F/4 Newtonian on a Losmandy German equatorial mount. The tube was made by John and is made out of carbon fiber. The views throght the telescope were spectacular.
  24. Here is an image that I took and stitched together from the Fourth Panhellenic Gathering of Amatuer Astronomers at Mt. Parnon on July 10,210. The aesthetics of the image are not the greatest, but it does give one an immediate idea of the great success of the event. It was refreshing to see that when someone dared to turn on car lights, they were met by a loud chorus of "lights out" from the attendees of the event. I was glad to see that the reaction time is the same around the world. A very large "Well Done" is deserved to all who worked hard to make it all happen and also to those who attended the event. Now we wait to see what interesting exotic local will be chosen for next years event. -Fred
