Ο Pellier πάντως γρήγορα αντιμετώπισε τα προβλήματα και σαγηνεύτηκε από τη Lumenera. A problem I has are permanent moving lines on the images and I'm looking for a solution as it doesn't look normal... Their presence is clearly seen on the second serie. 18/8/2005 A second set with the Lumenera. Seeing was better. The parasites lines have been seriously minimised by shooting at 60 fps for R and G, with a stacking of 2000 frames each. The blue images are taken at 7,5 fps, as 60 fps isn't possible anymore. 26/8/2005 Hi all, here are some images showing various Tharsis volcanoes (including maybe Pavonis ?) and the Arsia orographic cloud... 30/8/2005 Hi all, here is the first test of the Lumenera under excellent conditions. The technical quality of the blue images is really satisfaying ! I'm definitely seduced by the camera Images shot from 7,5 to 22 fps. Και ένα προσωπικό μήνυμα από τον Paul Maxson που δεν είναι πολύ ικανοποιημένος: To tell you the truth, I have not been very impressed with the Lumenera camera as yet. This is mostly because the software to drive the camera, Streampix, is quite primative and full of bugs. I think the camera itself is excellent but without decent software, it doesn't shine. I am amazed at the quality of images Damian and Paolo get with theirs. Of course, they have the mono camera and use RGB filters. I have only had the camera for a couple of months and Mars is the only object I have tried it on. The software folks seem to want to improve the software and we'll just have to wait and see. It is a lot of money ($1500US) for the camera and I expected more. Όπως βλέπετε, το πρόγραμμα είναι το Streampix.
