The cirrus was not heavy enough to impact the visual observations, only the longer image exposures. I thought the observed corona was remarkably close to the prediction by PredSci.com Afterwards, we waited at our site for four hours for traffic to clear and then left. Big mistake. We quickly got stuck in a 60-mile long traffic jam from Douglas to past Wheatland. What was normally a 45 minute drive took 8 hours. If the rest of the nation experienced similar, than my traffic estimates were way too low. In my visitation estimates at https://www.greatamericaneclipse.com/statistics/ , I thought that between 48,000 and 192,000 people would make the drive to the path of totality in the state of Wyoming. Boy, was I wrong. Γεια σου Βαγγέλη! Χαθήκαμε! Έχουμε δει και οι 2 αστεροειδείς εν κινήσει (έστω της Κύριας Ζώνης), οπότε δεν ήταν η πρώτη φορά, αλλά όπως και να' χει, θυμήθηκα πολύ ωραίες στιγμές! Άρχισα να τον παρατηρώ 00:50 μέχρι 02:10 περίπου. Μάλιστα γύρω στις 01:30 πέρασε και ένας δορυφόρος από δίπλα του. aiolos: 10 χρόνια τώρα στην αστρονομία προτιμώ να βάζω τα όρια εκεί που μπορώ εγώ και να μη παίρνω τίποτα ως δεδομένο! Αυτό, πίστεψέ με, θα σε ανταμείψει, αν όχι σήμερα, πολύ σύντομα! Με λίγα λόγια: Always give a try, never give up! Ξεκίνησα με την Uranometria και τον 35mm Ultima, από τον α CVn --> 15-16-17 CVn (χάρτης 53). Μετά πήγα στους 23-20-19 CVn με rdf. Από το σημείο αυτό, συνέχισα τα αστροάλματα με τον χάρτη που επισυνάπτω και όταν έφτασα στο πεδίο, έβαλα τον 18mm Radian. Τον έψαχνα στο πεδίο της ώρας 21:00UT, αλλά μου ξέφυγε. Και του έστησα καρτέρι στο πεδίο της ώρας 22:00UT. Εκεί πια, τον αντιλήφθηκα λόγω κίνησης, κατόπιν συνεχών συγκρίσεων. καλή συνέχεια

Εγώ μπήκα στο site της πρεσβείας ψάχνοντας δικαιολογητικά για βίζα, η οποία πράγματι κοστίζει 152 ευρώ. Αν μείνουμε κάτω από 90 μέρες, δε χρειάζεται βίζα, αλλά esta, δηλ. αυτό που παρέθεσε ο Βασίλης παραπάνω.

Άγγελε πού το στηρίζεις αυτό; Το γρανάζι του skytracker είναι μεγαλύτερης διαμέτρου, και όσο κι αν το έχω ψάξει το θέμα, δεν έχω βρει διθυραμβικές κριτικές για το vixen. Μπορεί να κάνω λάθος και να μου έχει ξεφύγει κάτι.
